“Cintsa is a true representation of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed, with a lovely South African pedigree, a proud South African.
Cintsa is very loving and cuddly. At home he is real soft and a couch potato but bring him outside and he will quickly display his strong working/hunting instincts. He is very protective against strangers but accepting of friends and relatives. He knows what is what! He has a strong hunting instinct and enjoys chasing monkeys and other game. Cintsa lives with and is loved by Melanie Mallinger who also owned his sire Ch Umjumi iNtsangu CGC (Go) and besides his successful show career, he also partakes in various working disciplines such as scent detection, mantrailing, hoopers and canine yoga. He loves to train and clicker-training works well with him. He can be very soft at various occasions like at the veterinarian or when getting his nails clipped. Then he can be a typical guy and very pathetic. Cintsa is good with people and other dogs but he is big and strong and needs a suitable playmate who can take his roughness.”
A typical ridgeback!

“Hekla was a very stubborn, brave and hard-headed puppy. I have had RR’s since 1991 and still I was surprised of how much work, comparing to all my other ridgebacks, this little one was. As an adult – Hekla is the best dog anyone could have. She is a true ridgeback. Calm, regal, loyal, sweet natured and with lots of integrity. She gets along with everyone and everything – whether it is people, other dogs, cats or horses. She doesn’t hunt and barks very seldom. She is a true joy and it seems she passes on her excellent temperament to her offspring.”
